National “Black and White Tour” Featuring FreedomWorks’ Matt Kibbe and Deneen Borelli to Visit Wabash, IN

WHAT: FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe (author of Hostile Takeover) and Outreach Director Deneen Borelli (author of Blacklash) will join Hoosier activists for an honest and frank discussion about issues of race and the economy. This event is part of the national “Black and White” tour, which made its debut at FreePAC Ohio this month.

The tour will make its first round of stops in 11 states: Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Virginia, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and Utah.

WHEN: Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 7-9pm ET.

7:00–8:00pm ET: Remarks by Matt Kibbe and Deneen Borelli, followed by Q&A

8:00–9:00pm ET: Book Signing (Hostile Takeover and Blacklash) and Reception

WHERE: The Legacy Hall at the Honeywell Center, 275 W. Market St., Wabash, IN 46992.

WHY: Liberal economic policy disproportionately harms the black community. While general unemployment is currently 8.1 percent, unemployment in the black community is at a shocking 14.1 percent. Energy and food price increases fall hardest on minority households across the nation.

People of all races, creeds, and colors benefit from more freedom—and suffer in its absence. If America hopes to build a better, more tolerant society, individuals need to advance the ideas of freedom and liberty. Simply put: Freedom is a “black and white” issue.
