House/Schedule: The House will be in session all week and adjournment is contingent on finishing business, at which time the House will go in to recess for the holidays. There could be a showdown over the big spending bill that would fund government through next September.

I came into politics by accident. I loved the music industry, and thought I was going to do music forever. Somehow, after the 2008 race started to spark my initial interest in politics, I wound up in this Tea Party world. Since jumping into the game with Smart Girl Politics, it has been a ride I wouldn't change for the world.

It has been 932 days since the Democrats have passed a budget. With the formation of the Super Committee, we saw an opportunity for Americans to tell Congress what they would be willing to cut, and offer suggestions to make the budgeting process easier for them. The Senate Rules Committee, headed up by Chuck Schumer, told us they were uncomfortable with the word "hearing", and locked the doors and took away our microphones minutes before the event was scheduled to start.

The Tea Party has been protesting consistently for almost three years now. The number of arrests can be counted on your fingers. No one has been injured. No one has destroyed property.

Let's contrast that with the Occupiers. There have been over 3,500 arrests. They are demanding. They have, essentially, written down things that they want on signs and demanded it from... who? Ultimately, us. From you. The 53% that works and pays taxes.

On Tuesday, Ohio will vote to limit the power of the unions through Issue 2.

By saying YES to Issue 2, Ohio voters are saying YES to the taxpayer protections achieved by Governor Kasich in SB 5, which enacted collective bargaining and pension reform for public sector unions, merit pay for teachers and expanded school choice.

Voting YES on Issue 2 will:

It’s time we reject the hate coming from Occupy Wall Street, a movement, which to represent 99% of Americans. After three years of being accused of racism, violent rhetoric, and holding America hostage, a movement has finally risen to the occasion: Occupy Wall Street.

Beyond the class warfare rhetoric of the radical left, Occupy Wall Street is now lashing out at the Jewish people.

Senator Rand Paul has introduced a resolution of disapproval of the EPA’s Cross State Air Pollution Rule.  This would completely nullify the expensive rule that the EPA has issued. It'll take power away from unelected officials and put our elected officials in a position to step up and do the right thing.
