Invitation: FreedomWorks Georgia June Breakfast

It’s that time of month – you are invited to FreedomWorks Georgia’s monthly breakfast to meet other Georgia activists, hear what FreedomWorks is doing in your state and across the nation, and to talk with political leaders on Saturday, June 28.

This month we are honored to have as our guests GA Senator Nancy Schaefer, Terry Rogers, and Jim Butterworth.

When:      Saturday, June 28, 8:00am

Where:     818 Hartwell Road, Lavonia,
                Lavonia Elementary School Gym

RSVP:       Carter Chastain at 706-779-2456 or hcchastain@alltel.net by noon Thursday, June 26

Last month, over forty people came out for a great breakfast and townhall meeting with Georgia Congressman Paul Braun.  Everyone had a wonderful time and this monthly tradition continues to grow.  You can see pictures from the event here.

Thank you, Georgia members, who have been calling your Senators to oppose the shameful Frank-Dodd Countrywide Mortgage Bailout.

Just yesterday, we discovered more bad ideas hidden in the bill: a plan to require the nation’s payment systems to track, aggregate, and report information on nearly every electronic transaction to the federal government.  The bill has serious privacy implications and affects the privacy and operations of almost every small business.  Please continue to tell Congress we don’t want a bailout!

Again, thank you for all your hard work and I look forward to seeing you at our June breakfast!

Sincerely,

Lynn East
