FreedomWorks North Carolina Takes on Smoking Ban

On Tuesday, February 17, North Carolina FreedomWorks members visited the legislature in opposition to H2 “Prohibit Smoking in Public and Work Places”.

H2 represents an eggregious violation of private property rights.  Freedom is what H2 is about – or well more precisely – not about!  H2 takes choice away from private property owners. If passed, H2 would take a lawful activity and make it unlawful on private property.  A business owner would no longer be able to smoke in his own business even if he were the only employee.
