Big Dig Problems Appear Widespread

The problems with the $14 billion plus roads project appear to be widespread, affecting more than 60 areas in the tunnel system, according to CNN. The state attorney general, Thomas F. Reilly, told reporters that “This is a massive failure, far beyond the events of Monday night,” when a woman was killed by falling pieces of the Big Dig– perhaps the most expensive public works project in American history. Federal taxpayers should not have to pay another dime towards this mismanaged and corrupt project.
