Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party

On this day in 1773, American colonists rose up against the oppression of British rule in an anti-tax protest we know today as the Boston Tea Party. Dressed as Native Americans these patriots stormed a British merchant ship and dumped tea into Boston Harbor, setting in motion a chain of events which would eventually lead to the American Revolution.

As Congress continues to ignore the will of the American people, we want to encourage every Tea Party activist to reflect on the Boston Tea Party and what it means to you. Please share your comments below!
