Help Pass School Choice in South Carolina

Thanks to the support of you and thousands of other grassroots activists, H. 4894 passed out of the House Education Committee last week, and is expected to be voted on by the full House in the next few days.

That’s why it’s more important than ever that we continue to make our voices heard in support of H. 4894.

The education establishment is pulling out all the stops to prevent this much-needed reform from being passed, but we must demand that legislators vote YES on H. 4894 and bring school choice to South Carolina.

The numbers don’t lie. Despite spending more than $12,000 per student per year, South Carolina ranks an unacceptable 47th in national education statistics. FreedomWorks and our allies are fighting to reverse this trend by putting parents and students back in control of education through the passage of H. 4894.

With the help of more than 20,000 hard-working activists, FreedomWorks has mobilized a grassroots effort that includes door-to-door neighborhood walks, phone calls, yard sign blitzes, educational events, direct mail and online campaigns. Please join them and show your support for educational freedom by taking a moment to sign the petition calling on lawmakers to support school choice.

It’s time for South Carolina parents and students, not politicians and bureaucrats, to control education in the Palmetto State. With your help, we will win this fight for the future.
