FreedomWorks to Join Rand Paul, Ken Cuccinelli in NSA Spying Class Action Lawsuit

WHAT: On behalf of 6 million members nationwide, FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe will join Rand Paul and lead counsel Ken Cuccinelli to file paperwork against President Barack Obama, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey and Director of National Security Agency Keith Alexander for a class action lawsuit against the NSA spying program.

A copy of the complaint will be made available as a PDF on www.ConstitutionDefenseFund.com

WHEN: Wednesday February 12, 2014, beginning at 11:00am ET.

WHERE: US District Court, District of Columbia, 333 Constitution Ave NW, Washington DC.

WHY: FreedomWorks believes that Fourth Amendment protection from warrantless searches and seizures by government applies to every American citizen. The NSA spying program is the largest warrantless gathering of citizen’s private information in American history. It’s time to put this issue before the courts.
