FreedomWorks attends YAL Convention at UC Irvine

FreedomWorks was represented at the University of California in Irvine this past weekend at the California Young Americans for Liberty State Convention, in order to push our Generational Theft survey and youth outreach for our upcoming Generational Theft fly-in during the FreePAC: Morning in America Summit, in Cincinnati March 12.

YAL had about 200 college students on hand from California, Utah and Nevada to hear speakers such as Ron Paul, David Friedman, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (California-48) and myself. FreedomWorks was tabling with three other gold level sponsors at the event.

Most of our grassroots materials were gone before the Saturday convention was over. I gave away FW t-shirts, Stephen Moore’s Pro-Growth Agenda booklets, Common Core fact sheets, Federalism in Action and From High Seas to Highway Robbery booklets on criminal justice reform, FW bumper magnets, assorted bumper stickers — and actually ran out of hard copies of our survey.

For those interested in our Generational Theft survey and fly-in competition, please take the survey here. We will select 20 winners to join us for an all-expenses paid trip to Cincinnati March 12.

For those who have any questions about the fly-in opportunity, please contact Grassroots Coordinator, Casey Cheap, at (202) 942-7621 or ccheap@freedomworks.org
