FreedomWorks Statement on the Inauguration of President Donald Trump

Following the inauguration of Donald Trump to serve as the 45th President of the United States, FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented:

“The Obama era is over, but the economic policies his administration forced upon the country still loom large. While we’re excited and optimistic about the historic moment before us, we know that it’s going to be a challenging effort. In the next several months, President Trump and a Republican-controlled Congress will have the opportunity to repeal and replace ObamaCare with patient-centered alternatives, roll back executive power and reduce regulatory burdens, cut spending, and fundamentally reform the tax code.”

“In the coming days, the Senate will confirm one of the most fiscal conservative, limited government-minded cabinets in American history. Just as important, President Trump will have the chance to nominate a justice in the mold of Antonin Scalia to serve on the Supreme Court, preserving the Constitution for the next generation.”

“We wish President Trump well as he takes office and hope that the next four years will bring real economic growth and opportunity for all Americans.”
