FreedomWorks calls on Chairman Greg Walden to Pass Right to Try

FreedomWorks vice president of legislative affairs Jason Pye released the following statement about Right to Try Act being stalled in Chairman Greg Walden’s committee for months upon months:

"You know, conservatives spend a lot of time criticizing the Senate for the lack of action on good policy, and rightly so. But when it comes to the Trickett Wendler, Frank Mongiello, Jordan McLinn, and Matthew Bellina Right to Try Act, the House is the problem. It’s clear that the House Energy and Commerce Committee is kowtowing to special interests by stalling the bill to run out the clock.

“The reasons for the committee stalling are nonsense. This is an easy win that promotes good policy and could help families with no options left. We’re calling on Chairman Greg Walden to pass the bill, without changes to avoid sending it back to the Senate, and send it to President Trump’s desk."
