FreedomWorks Praises Injunction Against the NSA

Following U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon’s order for the National Security Agency to cease its bulk collection of Americans’ phone metadata, FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented:

“It’s good to the see that there are still some federal judges who take their oaths to uphold and defend the Constitution seriously. The fact of the matter is the NSA’s bulk collection of Americans’ phone records wasn’t constitutional. The Fourth Amendment was created specifically to prohibit general warrants. It’s part of what makes the United States an exceptional nation.”
