Reuters Paints Misleading Picture on Renewable Fuels, Carl Icahn, and Scott Pruitt

In the era of “fake news” and dwindling public trust in professional journalists, supposedly “mainstream” outlets like Reuters ought to either actually play it straight or just admit their bias. Today, Reuters chose instead to fan the fake news-flames and ran this scintillating headline: “Exclusive: U.S. EPA grants biofuels waiver to billionaire Icahn's oil refinery – sources.”

Senate Democrats Demand FCC Chairman Ajit Pai Violate the First Amendment; Pai Refuses

Yesterday, twelve Senators from the radical left, including Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), wrote a letter to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai demanding he open an investigation into a news company based entirely on the content aired and viewpoints of that company. What is immediately obvious to just about everyone besides these twelve Senators, including Chairman Pai, is that such action would constitute an egregious violation of the First Amendment. Today, Chairman Pai sent a letter back to the Senators making clear just as much.

Reuters Article on Tax Reform is Blatant Fake News

On December 7, Reuters published an article, subsequently shared by The Drudge Report, that is a quintessential example of why many on the right label mainstream media outlets as “fake news.” The article is titled “Millions would lose mortgage, gift write-offs under U.S. tax bill: study.” What this headline suggests is patently false. The actual text of the article is not much better, spinning the reforms to common tax deductions in the pending House and Senate tax reform bills to a nausea-inducing extent.
