America's comeback Tour

It isn’t very often that citizens are presented with the opportunity to lower their own taxes, but this November, the people of Colorado will have the chance to do just that. At the ballot box this year, Coloradans will be faced with Proposition 116, an initiative that would permanently lower both individual and corporate tax rates. Given the state’s relatively healthy financial state, it is positive to see legislators taking initiative to change the tax code to pass the benefits of alternative revenues on to the citizens in the form of tax cuts.

The coronavirus, and the excessive lockdowns associated with the government’s response have put many of America’s small businesses underwater. Millions of Americans are struggling to make ends meet. Lawmakers are trying to address the issue and get our economy going again. Evidently, those in Arizona didn’t get the memo.

FreedomWorks Foundation’s Regulatory Action Center (RAC) has submitted comments to the US Forest Service (USFS) regarding the Stibnite Mining Project in Northwest Idaho. This project has been held up for years by radical environmentalists, despite the number of economic, social, and environmental benefits the project will have for the area.

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has been a big focus in national politics in the months ahead of the 2020 presidential election. The USPS’s significant fiscal problems are long-standing and well documented. Mail volume has steadily declined to 142.6 billion pieces in FY 2019 from 213.1 billion in FY 2006. The USPS, which is a self-funded entity by law, hasn’t posted a budget surplus, or profit, since FY 2006 and reported a loss of $8.8 billion in FY 2019, which ended months before COVID-19 hit the United States.
