Illinois Ballot Initiative is a Tax Hike Barely in Disguise

A new constitutional amendment on the ballot that Illinoisans will face in November, the “Illinois Allow for Graduated Income Tax Amendment,” could prove disastrous for the state’s taxpayers and economy. Currently, the Illinois state constitution only allows for a flat income tax system. This amendment would repeal this constitutional requirement that the state's personal income tax is a flat rate across income, and instead allow the state to enact legislation for a graduated income tax.

Our activists came from across the country to learn how they can make a difference and ensure that the November elections are free and fair. Support the Kenneth P. Thompson Begin Again Act, H.R. 8560

On behalf of our activist community, I urge you to contact your representative and ask him or her to cosponsor the Kenneth P. Thompson Begin Again Act, H.R. 8560. Introduced by Reps. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Van Taylor (R-Texas), the Kenneth P. Thompson Begin Again Act would eliminate the age requirement for an individual seeking to have his or her record expunged for a first-time drug offense.

Twitter’s Arbitrary Censorship is a Bad Business Model

Twitter and Facebook’s recent decision to censor the New York Post’s story on Hunter Biden’s ties to Burisma may very well be a tipping point in the fight over Big Tech. Conservatives have a clear reason to be concerned that companies such as Twitter and Facebook, among others, are essentially engaging in election interference. It is no surprise that conservatives are leaving in droves to alternative platforms.
