Board of Directors

FreedomWorks Board

Joan Carter (Full Bio)
Chairman, FreedomWorks
UM Holdings Ltd.

“I believe strongly in the FreedomWorks vision of empowered individuals in a free society. FreedomWorks is at the forefront of promoting liberty and constitutionally-limited government in a new media age, and I look forward to helping the community to grow and spread the message of economic freedom.”

Mary E. Albaugh
Vice-Chairman, FreedomWorks

"When our daughters were born, my husband and I envisioned an ever-expanding world of opportunity and continued prosperity. But the government grew faster than our children, shrinking their future prospects and each person’s ability to flourish through his own efforts. I joined FreedomWorks to connect with remarkably diverse individuals who share the core values of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. As a member of the Board, it’s my honor to assess, use and promote the tools FreedomWorks provides to fight for the economic and political freedom all of us need to thrive."
