I know I do. That's why I'm so glad the good people over at Reason have given us the Personal Stimulus Generator - you could qualify for up to $350 billion!

For years I've been trying to spread the word about the menace tough urban squirrels pose to society - and now, thanks to the largess of taxpayers everywhere those greedy, twitchy rodents can be stopped.

Earmarks and Pork-Barrel Spending Breed Corruption in Congress

Not long after the 2016 presidential election, House Republicans entertained a rule change proposed by Reps. John Culberson (R-Texas), Mike Kelly (R-Pa.), Mike Rogers (R-Ala.), and Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) to bring back earmarks. The rule change, which likely would have passed if allowed to proceed, was quashed by Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who felt that reviving the practice sent the wrong message after a “drain the swamp” election.

Three Quarters of Americans Believe Washington Spends Too Much

A new poll by Reason shows that the American public is fed up with the spending spree in Washington and does not want the debt-ceiling increased. Seventy-six percent of the American public believe that the government is spending too much money. Washington as a whole, and liberals in particular will surely ignore these facts during the looming budget battles.

The House of Representatives passed the second installment of the Hurricane Sandy bailout Tuesday night, as Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) brought up a bill he knew would pass without support from his own party. That allowed conservatives to vote against a bill that conservative groups were adding to their legislative scorecards.The path of the bill has been marked by one consistent strawman argument: opposition has been cast as opposition to relief, rather than opposition to the corrupt spending accompanying it.
