Florida Tea Parties Unite…To Celebrate The State

Tea Party and 9/12 Project Groups From Throughout Florida Come Together in Welcoming Governor Rick Scott to Eustis, FL.

Eustis, Florida will be buzzing with excitement on Monday as Tea Party, 9/12 Project and other freedom groups from throughout the state, proudly welcomes Governor Rick Scott to their ‘Tea Parties Unite’ rally.  In addition, Gov. Scott has announced that he will unveil his new budget at this event!

This unprecedented action will take place Monday, February 7th at 1:00 PM at the historic Alice McClelland Band Shell at Ferran Park in downtown Eustis, located at the junction of Ferran Park Rd and Orange Ave.  The North Lake Tea Party will be hosting the event.  The general public is invited to attend.

Over sixty grassroots organizations have confirmed their participation with event organizers and are very encouraged by Governor Scott’s continuing commitment to the grassroots support that played an integral role in his election.  This activist coalition is looking forward to a budget with a strong emphasis on cutting taxes and reducing government spending.

“Gov. Scott’s bold decision to release his budget at a Tea Party rally really sets a precedent by including the very people who’ll actually be contributing to it and speaks volumes to the strength of this movement”, said Tom Gaitens, state director of FreedomWorks.

Tea Party favorite Lloyd Marcus will kick off the event with a 30 minute pre-rally and additional speakers will include State Rep. Mike Weinstein – “Let’s Talk Caucus”, former FBI agent Gary Aldrich – ‘DC and Tea: United as One’, and local tea party hero Dr. Jack Cassell speaking on the ‘Defeat of ObamaCare’.
