FreedomWorks Foundation Drives More Than 4700 Unique Comments In Support of Administration’s Asylum Rule

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In support of the Trump administration’s recently proposed asylum rule, FreedomWorks Foundation’s grassroots activist community has driven over 4700 unique comments urging the Department of Homeland Security to proceed with the rule that will strengthen border security and help reform the United States’ broken immigration system.

Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“Our grassroots community has made their voice heard in recent weeks with their show of support for the Trump administration’s asylum rule proposal. American citizens and prospective legal immigrants deserve a system that works for their benefit, and not those who bypass safe countries on their way to the U.S. hoping to incur generous benefits at the expense of the American taxpayer. As the comment period comes to a close tonight at midnight, FreedomWorks’ grassroots community will continue to log comments in support of the asylum rule.”
