FreedomWorks to Host Presidential Summit in Cincinnati

Following a successful event on December 5 in Iowa that drew more than 2,000 conservative grassroots activists and five presidential candidates, FreedomWorks announced a second presidential summit on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

FreedomWorks’ FreePAC: Morning in America Summit will take place three days before the Ohio presidential primaries. The summit offers conservative grassroots activists the opportunity to cut through stale media narratives and hear directly from presidential candidates about their plans to achieve economic growth.

“Our grassroots community is starving for real conservative solutions for fundamental tax reform, to slash spending and control the bloated national debt, and to reduce regulations that hurt businesses. Whether they were at the event in Iowa or watching the live-stream, thousands of conservative grassroots activists heard Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Rand Paul, and Rick Santorum talk directly to them about the issues so vital to America’s economic potential,” said FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon. “Ohio is an absolutely critical stop on the road to White House in the primaries and the general election. We’re excited to bring this event to the Buckeye State, and we look forward to hearing the candidates’ plans to grow the economy.”

Any candidate who is ideologically in sync with FreedomWorks and who is polling at or above 1 percent in the RealClearPolitics national polling average on December 15, 2015 will be invited to FreedomWorks’ FreePAC: Morning in America Summit. More details about the event will be released in the coming weeks.
