WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to reports that Franklin County, OH sent absentee ballots to the wrong recipients, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“Incidents like this should serve as a reminder of the dangers inherent in widespread voting by mail. In addition to opening the door to fraud, voting by mail leaves ballots especially vulnerable to software and procedural miscues that prevent ballots from getting to the right places and correct recipients. I doubt that Americans are eager to wait days, if not weeks, to know the official results of the Presidential Election due to lost or undelivered ballots. My message to fellow Buckeyes is this: If you are able, vote in person. Our institutions cannot afford further threats to election integrity. Our Republic depends upon it.”
