WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to local concerns over mail ballot security in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“Residents of Pittsylvania County are right to raise concerns over the security of drop-off ballot boxes. Not a day goes by that we do not hear of another issue associated with the dangers of widespread voting by mail. This would not be the case if Americans voted in-person this November-- health experts have made clear it is safe to do with the proper precautions. Instead, the push for widespread voting by mail has laid the groundwork to contest the results of the 2020 Election. Worse so, it has also undermined Americans’ trust in the electoral process."
