WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to House Ways & Means Democrats’ newly-unveiled Growing Renewable Energy and Efficiency Now (GREEN) Act, which abuses crony tax provisions such as the electric vehicle (EV) tax credit in an attempt to address climate change, Jason Pye, FreedomWorks Vice President of Legislative Affairs, commented:
America, as well as many other places throughout the world, has witnessed mass protests, claiming catastrophic disasters if fossil fuels are not eliminated. However, only a very small percentage of protesters know the methods and science upon which they are protesting. This is dangerous to our society.
Employees in the D.C. area experienced an even worse-than-normal commute on Monday. No, the Metro wasn’t on fire again: Climate change protesters brought traffic to a virtual standstill in busy intersections around the city by physically blocking roads. WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the so-called “Green Real Deal” resolution put forth by Rep. Matthew Gaetz (R-Fla.), Patrick Hedger, FreedomWorks’ Director of Policy, commented:
President Obama’s “Clean Power Plan” (CPP) drains our economy for Sierra Club hysteria. CPP sacrifices thousands of jobs, billions in growth, and lots of happiness. Thankfully, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt will likely toss it.
