America, as well as many other places throughout the world, has witnessed mass protests, claiming catastrophic disasters if fossil fuels are not eliminated. However, only a very small percentage of protesters know the methods and science upon which they are protesting. This is dangerous to our society.

One of the fondest memories of my childhood, growing up in the idyllic countryside of Connecticut, was the crisp air of autumn days, the smell of dried leaves from the maple and walnut trees on our farm, and the crackle of a fire in our woodstove or fireplace warming our colonial era home.

Last week, President Obama marked the next step in his second term agenda in a speech about global warming and the EPA.

The EPA's findings on carbon dioxide earlier this week came as a surprise to few.  And the timing, in light of Copenhagen, couldn't be better for the Administration (sheer coincidence, we're sure).  Now it looks like the Administration isn't just going to bask in the sunlight of getting something done just in time for Obama's big speech in Oslo.  The White House is http://www.foxnews.com/politics

The International Energy Agency is reporting a "surprising" and "significant" decline in worldwide CO2 emissions in 2009, versus 2008. The reason, of course, is the deep worldwide recession which has wiped trillions of dollars out of the planet's wealth.

New FreedomWorks member and geophysicist, Dennis Henke of Wichita, KS is testifying today before the EPA at a hearing about the regulation of CO2 - carbon dioxide, gas we all exhale and that the EPA recently declared to be a harmful greenhouse gas worthy of regulation under the Clean Air Act.    In a press release, Henke points out the faulty science and poor logic behind the ruling.
