Erv Hoglund Receives Washington CSE’s “2002 Friend of the Taxpayer Award”

Erv Hoglund, candidate for the Washington State House of Representatives and CSE activist, received the Washington Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE) “2002 Friend of the Taxpayer Award” last night during an event in Marysville.

Northwest CSE Director, Russ Walker, had the following comments:

“On behalf of our 18,000 members in Washington State, we recognize Erv Hoglund’s passionate and articulate commitment to CSE’s goals of lower taxes, less government, and more freedom. Erv, a long-standing CSE member, has been passionate about these issues for many years. His commitment to bettering Washington State’s economic climate and making it more family-friendly through lower taxes, has led him to run for office. I know if he is elected, he will serve with distinction and will truly represent the taxpayer – not only from his district but from across the state.

“I am proud that we can present this “2002 Friend of the Taxpayer” Award to Erv in recognition of his commitment to CSE’s economic ideals and in anticipation of his future role in making Washington State a better place to live and work.”
