Liberals like to claim that they are the champions of the middle class. They claim that without Democrats, ruthless Republicans would sell the little guy out to the evil corporations who, like Vampires on the hit HBO show “Trueblood”, would find joy in sucking you, the little guy, dry. With all this class warfare rhetoric, it is hard to believe that Liberals have time to do anything, but that’s neither here nor there.
The Obama administration is fond of reminding the American public that private sector jobs have grown by 4.1% over the past 28 months. More importantly, 75% of North Carolinian voters support increased access to domestic oil and natural gas resources including energy from shale.
“Winning the Future,” is one of the newest slogans from our campaigner in chief. Obama whips this slogan out when he talks about increasing funding or “investing” for education. Clearly, President Obama’s economic advisers’ policies have failed to produce any signs of economic recovery. A new report shows that 48 out of 50 states have lost jobs since the “stimulus” was enacted in February 2009. According to the report, government employment in Washington DC has increased while private sector jobs have stagnated across the country.
