Wake County Citizens for a Sound Economy activists enjoyed a great evening at Pullen Park in Raleigh at Wake County’s annual hot dog supper.

Over 70 members enjoyed good conversation, grilled hot dogs, and some homemade deserts on a beautiful summer evening. After the meal, activists had the opportunity to hear from several guest speakers.

Tom Campbell, host of NC Spin, talked about the need for strong leadership in Sate Government during these difficult economic times. Amy Gardner, a Wake County School Board member, outlined the projected growth of students in Wake County and the need for passage of the proposed School Bond this fall. Several candidates for local and statewide office stopped by to speak with members.
