In Utah, we are in the middle of a huge battle trying to preserve the Caucus System. There are two main grassroots groups leading the fight against the GOP Establishment. I am the Deputy Directory of Keep Our Caucus. The other group involved is called "Protect Our Neighborhood Elections." We are working hard to keep our caucus and standing up to the Establishment, which is led by the group Count My Vote.
This week, an economics professor from a small liberal arts college in Virginia did something no one else has ever done: He handily defeated the sitting House Majority Leader in a primary election.

In response to the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s (NRSC) pledge to “continue to fully support Thad Cochran” in the Mississippi GOP runoff, FreedomWorks for America President Matt Kibbe called on the national party organization to encourage Senator Thad Cochran to concede.
Last night, the freedom movement won some important electoral primary victories. In Georgia’s 11th District, Barry Loudermilk, a true champion of limited government, education freedom and market-centered health care solutions, came in first in his race with 39 percent of the vote, and is headed to the July 22nd runoff. In Georgia’s First District, Dr. Bob Johnson also made his way to the July runoff.
