Not true!
The technical problems with the implementation of the (Abdominable) Affordable Care Act are becoming the stuff of legend. The entire thing should be rebuilt. But that will not save the ACA, because the underlying policies and political pressures that have caused the problems are even worse than the systems so far created to deliver it.
With the constitutional merit of the Obamacare mandate unraveling daily before our very eyes, the liberal talking points of bloggers, pundits, and politicians attempting to justify Obamacare from both a constitutional and a practical standpoint seem to be getting more and more ludicrous and far-fetched. On April 21, 2012, FreedomWorks’ health care VP Dean Clancy updated bloggers at BlogCon CLT in Charlotte, NC, on the Tea Party’s fight to replace ObamaCare with a patient-centered health care system.
In a talk titled “Health Care: How We Win,” Clancy described the battle as being waged on four fronts: 1) the court of public opinion; 2) the Supreme Court; 3) Congress; and 4) the states; and he optimistically predicted, “We are going to win this thing!”
