Over 50 Activists Attend Mitchell Co. FreedomWorks/CSE Meeting

Over fifty FreedomWorks/Citizens for a Sound Economy (CSE) members gathered in Bakersvile on August 3, 2004, for the regular Mitchell Co. FreedomWorks/CSE Meeting. Great work guys!


Dee Stewart, spoke for State Rep. Patrick McHenry, Candidate for Congress in North Caolina’s Tenth District. Rep. McHenry has signed all of our pledges.

State Senator Andrew Brock (a former CSE staffer) spoke on CSE’s effectiveness on protecting property rights in the state and in stopping the stream buffers and rain tax. He also noted how important it is to go to CSE Day in Raleigh every year!

David Huffman, candidate for U.S. Congress in North Carolina’s Tenth District. He has signed all of CSE’s pledges.

Keith Masters, County Commissioner and CSE activist: “We need to stay focused on good govt. and lower taxes.”

Roger Wilson, chairman of Mitchell Co. CSE goes over CSE’s successes in Mitchell Co. in the last 3 years. Two current members of the Board of Commissioners are also FreedomWorks/CSE members and two more members are nominated for the 3 seats open this year (vote is Nov. 4th).
