Joe Biden may not be Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, but it’s clear his approach to the presidency would fundamentally change America for the worse. Of course, his economic agenda brings a lot of problems that would lead to fewer opportunities for all, but it’s Biden and his fellow Democrats’ approach to our institutions that will bring serious, long-term negative consequences.

You’ve both dedicated your lives to the cause, long believing that civic engagement is the best way to at once improve this country and make sure that freedom remains a reality for every citizen.

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s pick of Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif. as his running mate is just the latest example of how the Democratic Party is moving further and further left. But it will be at this week’s Democratic National Convention, where the party will officially nominate Biden and agree to its 2020 platform, that the policy transformation will be complete.

Recently, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden took to the stage in Dunmore, Pennsylvania to outline his plan for economic recovery. While the policies he was peddling were nearly identical to the relatively moderate framework he outlined in 2019, the tone of his announcement was quite different. He wrapped his message in the all too familiar language of the progressive left, calling for an end to “shareholder capitalism,” saying “the idea that the only responsibility a corporation has is to shareholders is an absolute farce.” Does Biden really trust businesses to do anything but be businesses?

In a break from our usual coronavirus programming, we recently got a quick look ahead to a looming issue that has major implications for the 2020 elections: voting by mail. President Trump’s cautionary tweet regarding the risk of voting by mail was met immediately by so-called fact checks. Not only is there a wealth of supporting evidence from both sides of the aisle that mail-in voting is a risk to election security, but soon after Trump was “fact-checked,” a report surfaced of one form of mail-in voter fraud in West Virginia.
