Rand Paul (R-Ky.), the REINS Act would reaffirm the legislative branch’s Article I authority by requiring that economically significant rules be approved through a joint resolution of Congress before they can take effect.

The bill would decouple Social Security benefits from Medicare Part A enrollment, allowing individuals if they so choose to to opt out of Medicare Part A without losing access to their Social Security benefits.

Jody Hice (R-Ga.). This legislation would appropriate funds to the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) and make it easier to fire government employees for poor performance or misconduct while maintaining a fair review process.

Todd Rokita (R-Ind.). This legislation would reform Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) by making it more fiscally responsible and ensuring it caters to those who truly need it.

On behalf of our activist community, I urge you to contact your senators and representative and ask them to support the legislation to amend the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, to require congressional approval of unilateral trade action taken under Section 232 of that law, . Introduced by Sens. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) and Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), the bills would restore congressional authority over trade policy.

The bill would gradually reduce the federal gas tax and give states more control over their respective transportation and infrastructure needs.

The bill would protect North Carolinians’ right to participate in fantasy sports contests and ensure that fantasy sports websites can continue to operate in North Carolina.

Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah). This bill would rescind the $15 billion in unobligated budget authorities from previous years that President Trump requested to Congress earlier this week in his proposal to rescind funds as provided for under the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974.

Doug Collins (R-Ga.) and Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.). The bill would require the implementation of evidence-based recidivism reduction programming in federal prisons and allow eligible offenders to earn time credits to serve part of their sentence in home confinement, halfway houses, or community supervision.
