FreedomWorks “Choose Your Cable” Campaign Buys Ad in The Hill Newspaper

As Congress considers a telecommunications reform bill this year, it will have the opportunity to modernize outdated policies that harm consumers. As part of this debate, FreedomWorks is making the case for consumer choice and competition. That’s the purpose of the Choose Your Cable campaign. Consumers will clearly benefit if Congress permits local choice in cable and video programming by eliminating outdated franchising regulations. Internet and telephone companies, perhaps even power companies, have the ability to offer video and television programming just like cable providers through high speed networks. Let them compete and consumers, innovation, and the economy will benefit.
