The Know-Nothing President

Last week, the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Dianne Feinstein, announced that President Obama didn’t know the United States was collecting communications data of allied leaders. In other words, Sen. Feinstein is suggesting that our intelligence agencies do not clue in the President to what sort of intelligence the United States government is gathering. Let that one sink in for a sec.

Keystone Pipeline: Suddenly the President Opposes Temporary Jobs

President Obama recently gave a wide-ranging interview to the New York Times, in which the topic of the Keystone pipeline was rehashed.  In it, the President mocked the idea that Keystone could be a job creator as Republicans have touted, because those jobs would be temporary construction positions.

Marine Returns Fire In Obama's War on Coal ... In Song

Marine veteran, Jimmy Rose, hit the stage last week for a performance on the hit show America's Got Talent, belting out an original country tune that eloquently humanized an industry that has been a way of life for his family and friends. The song was titled, Coal Keeps the Lights On. By singing about keeping the lights on, Rose cast a spotlight on the Obama administration's War on Coal, and by extension, a war on the very types of people Rose is singing about.

The Romance is Gone

Who knew the best form of birth control would be the President himself?Shortly after the historic election of Barack Obama in 2008, Newsweek magazine ran an article basking in the afterglow of victory, opining about the possibility of American citizens themselves ... um, basking in the afterglow.

Obama's Motives After Sequestration Clear - Punish America, Reward Everyone Else

Never before have the sentiments of this 'politics over prosperity' President been more clear than in the aftermath of the sequestration debate. Since the reality of the $85 billion cuts across government departments, agencies and programs has set in, the President has set a clear and convincing course in trying to punish Americans in a very public manner, for the concept of reigning in government spending, and has continued to reward those outside our country.

Journalists Instructed to Report on Benefits of Obamacare: "There's Only Upside"

Earlier this month, we covered a suspect symposium being sponsored by a pro-Obamacare organization, designed to provide journalists with "specialized education in health care reporting”.  The anticipation of media bias was palpable.  Previous revelations of this relationship prompted one reporter to write, "this sounds like a program to teach reporters to write supportive stories about the health care reform law.”

Low-Information Voters, Low-Information Politicians

It's the messaging, stupid.Much has been made since the past election cycle regarding the GOP's inability to reach out to voters.  While doing so, many are focusing on the voter themselves, or as Rush Limbaugh refers to them - the low-information voter.

Diving Off the Regulatory Cliff

While Americans wait ever-anxiously for our elected leaders to hammer out a solution to the so-called fiscal cliff, business leaders and economic analysts have already watched the country fall off what could only be described as a cliff of its own.  The Obama administration has sent the nation plummeting into a sea of anti-business, anti-growth red tape over the last few years, but even as the economy struggles to regain any traction, the White House is intending to accelerate the rate of descent.Welcome to the 'regulatory cliff'.

Mr. President - Get Off the Sideline, Get on the Pipeline

The time for politics has passed, or so you would think.Throughout his campaign, President Obama promised to make a decision on the Keystone XL pipeline after the election was over.  Nearly six weeks later however, despite facts that reveal the project to be a bipartisan, pro-energy, pro-growth pursuit, the President has still failed to address the issue.
