WHAT: A group of Mississippi FreedomWorks activists will protest Sen. Thad Cochran’s support of the Export-Import Bank at two of his district offices on Tuesday, August 19. Senator Cochran supports the re-authorization of the Ex-Im bank and the wasting of billions in taxpayer dollars.
Beltway traffic is never fun to navigate, but starting Friday, it might be getting a whole lot worse. People around the country are getting increasingly upset with our government, which doesn't appear to be listening. With Washington continuing to spiral out of control, people are finding new ways to protest that can’t be ignored.
Yesterday, a large group of unions including AFSCME, NEA, SEUI, AFT and ATU protested outside FreedomWorks HQ in DC. We were cussed at and called names. A Jewish member of FreedomWorks staff was called a "bad jew." Here is a video I took of the protest:

Join the WV Metro Valley Patriots Tea Party on Monday, July 19 for a demonstration against cap and trade in front of the Charleston WV Unemployment Office at noon.
This demonstration will drive home the message that cap and tax is a jobs killer for West Virginia and comes in advance of an expected Senate energy bill vote in the next weeks.

Call me old fashioned, but if I remember correctly the U.S. Constitution was drafted specifically to enumerate powers granted by the governed to their government. And it’s a very short list. Which, as far as I know, says nothing about mandatory taxpayer-subsidized, government-rationed universal health insurance.
50 FreedomWorks North Carolina members joined a group of about 300 outside President Obama's town hall meeting in Raleigh, NC where the President was promoting his health care reform legislation. Some FreedomWorks members traveled from as far away as Asheville, a four hour drive. FreedomWorks NC legislative liaison Kathy Hartkopf was interviewed by two local news sattions, channels 11 and 17 and the group also managed to sign up new members! Check out
