On Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17, I was pleased to take part in Turning Point, USA’s second annual “Winter in West Palm Beach.”

Liberty Kitty has learned the hard way that overcriminalization and excessive regulation ruins lives and hurts the economy. She was prevented from grooming neighborhood kittens because she did not have the time or money it would take to become licensed, and she was incarcerated for 7 cat years under a mandatory minimum sentencing law for a non-violent crime.

Recently I got to chat with my friend Jason Stapleton, host of the popular online show the Jason Stapleton Program, and founder and CEO of TradeEmpowered. Jason took the time to answer some important questions and shed light on the crisis regarding entitlement reform, and how the millennial generation is getting scammed out of a prosperous future.

Imagine if you will, you're just an everyday a socialist in training. You are trying your hardest to take over the what was once the greatest engine for job creation and innovation in the world- the US economy, by using government and overall federal coercion as your grand method. How would you hid this scheme to steal America? The greatest case of grand theft in all of history is occurring right before your eyes.

"Generational theft," it's a harsh term but it's true. Every day, millions of Americans for paying into systems they will never see a return in, never utilize, never receive even adequate service from. Even worse, millions of people are paying into programs they don't want to participate in. The disheartening piece of the matter is that we aren't paying taxes simply to fund unpopular federal programs, we are paying taxes simply to pay off the interest and debt, hoping that one day we can start paying off what needed to be paid for in the first place. What have we done to ourselves? The better question at hand is what did our parents generation do to help get us here, and how does this affect the future of our posterity? Generational theft is not simply one generation of Americans who stole from another, it's the permanent enslavement to the debt we place on future generations who will inherit an inconceivable toll upon their entrance into the world.

History is filled with pitfalls and terrible occurrences. For most of human history, the early world consisted of nothing but war, theft, slavery, and obedience to a state which ruled through fear. While those of us living in the US live so comfortably, that not even kings from a different era could compare to even our lowest standard of living, there are many people throughout the world that still live in an environment where something is absent- liberty.
