Florida Property Rights Rally

WHY: June 23rd is the first anniversary of the Supreme Court decision on KELO (Property Rights).
The residents of Riviera Beach are still embroiled in an effort by the City Government to ‘Eminent Domain’ their property and deliver it into the hands of developers.
The Governor signed the most aggressive protections of Property Rights in the nation, but the residents of Riviera Beach are still under assault from local government.
FreedomWorks, Institute for Justice, the Pacific Legal Foundation and the Constitution Committee of Florida have chosen the Anniversary of Kelo to show our support for the affected citizens and to reject any and all efforts to transfer property from one private owner to another via government force!

DIRECTIONS:
Directions from I95 … from either north or south, take the Blue Heron Blvd. exit. Go East approximately 3-4 miles…You will cross US Route one (called Broadway here) continuing East to the large bridge which crosses the Intercostals. The road gently curves northward and from the foot of the bridge to Ocean Reef Park is 1 and 1/2 miles. Right hand turn lane into the Park…the Pavilion is directly ahead.
