Return Trip

After five years with the Progress and Freedom Foundation, research fellow Kent Lassman is returning to his former digs at FreedomWorks as senior vice president for strategy. From 1998 until 2001, Lassman worked for Citizens for a Sound Economy, the forerunner to FreedomWorks. At CSE, Lassman developed a specialty in telecommunications policy analysis, which later took him to PFF in 2001. While there, he introduced state policymakers to the think tank’s research. Lassman, 32, is originally from Geneseo, Ill., and is finishing up a master’s degree in public administration at North Carolina State University
