In the weeks leading up to the event, FL CSE activists were trained and came ready to discuss a number of important public policy issues, including proposed prescription drug price-caps legislation, with their legislators.

Activists were armed with a number of grassroots educational materials on the detriments of government controlled health care such as talking points, sample letters to the editor and legislators, and CSE’s educational booklet “What is Washington Doing to your Medicare?”

Activists were also given lobby sheets that contained talking points on the detriments of prescription drug price-caps. Activists distributed these lobby sheets to each legislator after every visit.
