FreedomWorks Ad Buy in Salt Lake Tribune Urges Mitt Romney to Vote for No New Witnesses

WASHINGTON, D.C. — FreedomWorks announces today its ad buy in The Salt Lake Tribune which urges Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) to vote against the introduction of new witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump. Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks’ President, commented:

“Democrats had their chance to call and question witnesses during their impeachment hearings, but instead chose to pass their sham articles of impeachment at breakneck speed in the House. Our activist community urges Sen. Romney to disregard the siren calls to bring forward new witnesses, and instead bring the Senate impeachment trial to a long-overdue end. This ad is part of our grassroots community’s larger effort, which, in the past two weeks, saw more than 180 activists visit their senators in person, including Sen. Romney, to urge them to acquit President Trump.”
