FreedomWorks Center for Economic Freedom Responds to April Jobs Report

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to the report that the U.S. economy added 263,000 jobs in the month of April, 2019, John Tamny, FreedomWorks Director of the Center for Economic Freedom (CEF), commented:

“It’s only natural that when the overall direction of economic policy favors more freedom, the economy grows. As a result, more people are lured from the sidelines into work.

“These numbers have the potential to be even stronger if Washington ceases intervening in trading relationships, and if bipartisan plans to spend $2 trillion on infrastructure are instead mothballed.”
