FreedomWorks Comments on AL Senator Strange’s Appointment

FreedomWorks CEO Adam Brandon commented on the appointment of Attorney General Luther Strange (R-Ala.) to fill the Senate seat left vacant by Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ confirmation.

“Luther Strange has a history of fighting the costly mandates from Washington, including the Clean Power Plan. Washington mandates to reduce carbon emissions and their hopes for a carbon tax would hurt all of us, but especially states like Alabama.

“Strange recently supported Scott Pruitt, another leader who is working against job-killing regulations. We look forward to working with Strange to promote limited government, lower taxes, and reducing the regulatory burden.”
