FreedomWorks Highlights Activists’ Efforts To Stop Biden’s Vaccine Mandate
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to OSHA’s announcement that it is formally withdrawing its vaccine mandate for employers with 100 or more employees, FreedomWorks would like to recognize the efforts of our grassroots activists who tirelessly fought against the blatantly illegal mandate since it was first announced.
Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“We applaud OSHA’s decision to abandon a vaccine or weekly testing mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees. This one-size-fits-all mandate would have done little to stop the spread of COVID, as vaccinated individuals can still catch and spread the disease. The attempt to impose this mandate is a perfect example of the heavy hand of Big Government that thinks it knows best. Employers are perfectly capable of determining what works best for their employees.”
“We might not be hearing such great news if not for the fierce and steady opposition of thousands of grassroots activists across the country who saw the OSHA mandate for what it was from the onset: a crippling threat to liberty. FreedomWorks applauds the efforts of these activists and thanks them for the part they played in rallying support for repeal of the mandate.”
FreedomWorks Foundation’s letter opposing the mandate was co-signed by 4792 of our activists.
In addition, 1570 activists submitted comments in opposition to making the vaccine mandate permanent, and 2794 activists asked their members and senators to support S.J. Res. 29 to overturn the mandate.
