FreedomWorks Names Member and Bill of the Month for July 2021
WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, FreedomWorks announced Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) as our featured Member of the Month and H.R. 3860, introduced by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) as a measure to prohibit any requirement that a member of the Armed Forces receive a COVID-19 vaccination, as our featured Bill of the Month for July 2021.
On her selection as FreedomWorks’ Member of the Month for July 2021, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) commented:
“When I ran for office, my campaign slogan was ‘Freedom,’ nothing more and nothing less. The Founding Fathers established our nation on the foundation of freedom, and everything else great about this country is built up from that. FreedomWorks understands this well, and I am honored to partner with them as I work to restore freedom to the center of American law.”
On the selection of H.R. 3860 as FreedomWorks’ Bill of the Month for July 2021, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) commented:
“No one should be forced or coerced by anyone else into taking the novel COVID-19 vaccine. It is not scientific to force all military personnel to accept the risks of adverse side effects when many servicemen and servicewomen may already be protected from the virus by natural immunity. I thank FreedomWorks for designating HR 3860 ‘Bill of the Month’ and for standing with our troops.”
