FreedomWorks Names Member and Bill of the Month for June 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, FreedomWorks announced Rep.Yvette Herrell as our featured Member of the Month and her Pausing Unrelenting Markups on Petroleum (PUMP) Act as our featured Bill of the Month for June 2021.

On her selection as FreedomWorks’ Member of the Month and her PUMP Act’s selection as Bill of the Month for June 2021, Rep. Yvette Herrell (R-N.M.) commented:

“Thanks to Washington Democrats’ spending spree, inflation is now stretching Americans’ pocketbooks. Gas prices in particular are higher than they’ve been since 2014. I introduced the PUMP Act to give American drivers some relief. Suspending the 18.4 cent/gal federal gas for at least six months, or until all COVID restrictions are lifted, is a simple way to save families a little cash during these difficult times. I appreciate FreedomWorks highlighting this commonsense bill and am honored to be named ‘Member of the Month.’”
