FreedomWorks Statement in Response to Biden’s National Security Agenda

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the White House unveiled its national security strategy. As expected, the strategy is simply another vehicle to push the Radical Left’s Green New Deal agenda and involve our country in a war thousands of miles away in Eastern Europe, which only warmongers and Washington’s military-industrial complex want to participate in.

In response, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“Joe Biden refuses to acknowledge the issues that are real national security threats to our country, while advancing his party’s agenda which is completely out of touch with the American people. Decades of out of control spending in Washington are crippling American families with runaway inflation and a skyrocketing national debt recently eclipsing $31 trillion. This is yet another instance of politicians ignoring the true threats to our nation in favor of promoting a radical agenda. Afterall, let’s not forget that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mullen made clear that the national debt presents the greatest national security threat to America.”

“Americans should have a federal government that prioritizes their safety and wellbeing. Instead, it is an overreaching and intrusive institution that is forcing the desires of the political elite upon the vast majority of its citizens.”

“Instead of prioritizing an ‘America First’ foreign policy agenda, gaining operational control over the southern border, strengthening our economic security, and returning to energy independence, Biden continues to focus on addressing climate change, combatting white rage, sending military and monetary aid to Ukraine, and ensuring that our military is a non-offensive, all-inclusive “safe space.” Climate change in particular is mentioned a total of 63 times, while there is no mention of American energy independence.”
