FreedomWorks Statement in Response to the Left’s Rank Sexism Against Republican Women

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to recent sexist comments made on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” by guest Kurt Bardella, senior advisor at the DCCC and DNC, Stephanie Maier, FreedomWorks Senior Director of Programs, commented:

“The rank sexism the Left puts GOP women through is unacceptable. If the roles were reversed, for example, and similar comments were directed toward Democrat Congresswoman Sandy Cortez, the entire Republican Party would be labeled as sexist and racist, with chants of ‘down with the patriarchy’ ensuing. Once again, the Left’s hypocritical mantra ‘rules for thee, but not for me’ is on full display, and they need to be called out for this kind of vitriol if we are to end their war on women.”
