FreedomWorks Statement in Response to Democrats’ Impeachment of President Trump

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to House Democrats’ decision today to pass articles of impeachment, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“This is a sad moment in the history of the House of Representatives. Blinded by their hatred of President Trump, House Democrats have lead us down the course of a partisan impeachment that will only further divide the country as well as trivialize and cheapen this truly important constitutional process. This impeachment effort has been a massive waste of time and a distraction from the issues that actually matter to the American people. We look forward to the Senate ending this charade through an acquittal of President Trump.”
