FreedomWorks Statement in Response to Dr. Fauci’s Continued Contradictions
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to NIAID Director Dr. Fauci’s recent comments that suggest that airlines should continue to require passengers to wear facial masks indefinitely, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:
“Dr. Fauci has contradicted himself once again by stating that he will stay in his position until the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, while at the same time saying that airline passengers must continue to wear masks indefinitely. Dr. Fauci is an enduring example that liberty once lost is lost forever.
“Covid-19 is not going away. Americans have a selection of both vaccines and treatment options available to combat a virus that grows weaker with each passing variant. It’s time to begin to move forward and dispense with the doom and gloom rhetoric that emanates from the Biden White House as an excuse to advance a radical, anti-freedom agenda.
“Clearly, Dr. Fauci has enjoyed his time in the spotlight, possibly even more than the power he has over everyday Americans. Lucky for him, regardless of what happens, he is bound to have a contributor spot on MSNBC if he wants it.”
