FreedomWorks Statement in Response to Governor DeSantis Signing Election Integrity Legislation

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In response to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signing S.B. 90, Adam Brandon, FreedomWorks President, commented:

“Over the last two decades, Floridians have come to understand the importance of election integrity. SB 90 includes provisions, such as voter ID requirements, which have substantial support among minority communities. FreedomWorks activists submitted hundreds of comments in support of SB 90, and we are encouraged by the Florida Legislature and Governor DeSantis’ commitment to restoring trust in the electoral process.”
